Refund Policy

✅ You CAN get a refund if:

  • The build failed due to a platform error
  • You request within 48 hours and the build has not started
  • A technical error prevented delivery of the promised output

❌ You CANNOT get a refund if:

  • The build completed successfully
  • You changed your mind after the build started
  • The business idea did not generate revenue

1. Launch Fee Refund Policy

The one-time launch fee of USD $49 is charged when you initiate a business build. By clicking "Launch your business — $49" and completing payment, you are purchasing a digital service that begins immediately upon payment confirmation.

1.1 EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital service contracts. However, this right does not apply where:

  • The consumer has explicitly requested that the service begin before the withdrawal period expires, and
  • The consumer has acknowledged that they lose their right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed

At checkout, you are presented with the following acknowledgement which you must confirm before payment:

"I request that the AI Business Engine service begins immediately upon payment. I acknowledge that I waive my right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive once the service (business build) has been fully performed."

If you did not see or confirm this acknowledgement, please contact us at support@aibce.io within 14 days of purchase.

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

We will issue a full refund of the $49 launch fee in the following circumstances:

Platform Failure

If the AI build pipeline fails due to a platform error (not user input error) and we are unable to deliver a completed business build within 7 days of the original build attempt, you are entitled to a full refund.

Pre-Build Cancellation

If you request a cancellation within 48 hours of payment and the build has not yet started (status is "Queued"), we will issue a full refund.

Duplicate Payment

If you were charged twice for the same build due to a payment processing error, we will refund the duplicate charge immediately upon verification.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Completed builds: Once the AI agents have successfully completed your business build and delivered the output (code, deployment, business plan), the service has been fully performed and the fee is non-refundable.
  • Change of mind: Changing your mind about your business idea after the build has started is not grounds for a refund.
  • Business performance: The $49 fee is for the build service, not a guarantee of business success or revenue. We do not offer refunds based on the performance of your business.
  • Partial builds: If a build is partially completed and you request a refund, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis but cannot guarantee a full refund.
  • Violation of Terms: If your account was suspended due to a violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued.

4. Revenue Share

Revenue share payments are collected automatically via Stripe Connect based on your business's actual revenue. Revenue share that has already been collected is non-refundable as it represents a percentage of revenue you have already received.

If you believe a revenue share calculation was incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of the charge at billing@aibce.io with your Stripe transaction details.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@aibce.io with:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of purchase
  • Your Stripe payment receipt number (found in your confirmation email)
  • The reason for your refund request

We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and will be returned to your original payment method.

6. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are costly and time-consuming for both parties. If you initiate a chargeback for a non-eligible refund scenario, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution.
